The Direct Texas Story

Originally known as WishList, Direct Texas was founded in 1990 in Austin as a mailing list company. In 1997, Carolyn Lehmann was brought on board to sell lists and to expand into offering turn-key mail solutions. In 2004, the company founder retired and Carolyn took over and moved the company to her hometown of New Braunfels.

In 2007, WishList added the statewide Texas Voters file to their list offerings, creating the opportunity to be a list and mail vendor to political campaigns, and began providing lists and services to candidates across the state under the dba VoterDirect Texas.

In 2008, WishList opened its on-site print shop to lower costs and decrease production time for their commercial and political customers.

In 2018, WishList Direct officially became Direct Texas.

In 2022, Direct Texas adding large format printing and screen printing. 

​

Over the last 30 years, Direct Texas and VoterDirect Texas have earned a solid reputation for being responsive and reliable for all of our clients, while providing them high-quality printing and direct mail products at a fair and reasonable price.
